Physical Therapy Assistant – Full Time

Job Description:

PTA assists in physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, muscle, nerve, joint and bone disorders or diagnoses to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability. Assists in making judgments regarding patient care and incorporates procedures into a workable treatment program with supervision. Also, maintains communication with physicians, staff and general public, work with technicians, students, and office staff; direct, participate in and present continuing education programs; and assume administrative/supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the clinic director. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications:

Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assistant from an APTA accredited university, Professional Licensure in the State of Kentucky, and CPR certification is mandatory.
